Public Relations
Miami County EMS participates in a number of public safety, education, and personal wellness events throughout the year.
This provides us with an opportunity to meet people in the communities we serve and to show-off our ambulances and equipment that their tax dollars helped us acquire. We are proud of our department and the service we provide. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, improving patient access to healthcare, and addressing safety issues and injury prevention.

Prom Crash Scenario
Each year, Miami County EMS works with local fire departments and law enforcement to organize and stage a mock prom crash. This scenario emphasizes the importance of safely enjoying the prom and after prom activities. It shows first hand the devastating effects of distracted driving or driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This event rotates between the school districts so that each graduating class has an opportunity to participate at least once.Medical Standbys
Miami County EMS provides medical coverage for events such as football games, wrestling tournaments, rodeos, watersports, marathons, triathlons, tractor pulls, races, and motorsports, concerts, festivals, parades, fireworks displays, and more.Special Event Requests
If you would like to request an ambulance for an event standby, please complete the online request form. Please note: We require at least a 10-day notice if you are requesting an ambulance that is dedicated to your event. We do charge $77.00 per hour with a two hour minimum for a dedicated ambulance standby. We do not charge for a non-dedicated ambulance standby, however the ambulance will remain subject to call and may be required to leave your event for another emergency.Contact Us
