If a season was ever personified by a community, Louisburg would be fall.

The community is home to the Louisburg Cider Mill & Country Store, which is rated among the top cider mills in the nation with activities throughout the year.  Visitors can enjoy a variety of ciders, cider donuts made fresh daily, sample a famous Lost Trail Root Beer, craft soda or hard cider. For a fall family getaway, attend Ciderfest Sept. 30 or Oct. 1, 7, and 8. The fun continues throughout October with Zombie Forest Nights and the Burning of the Scarecrow.

Whether it’s a new tradition or a long-standing one, picking a perfect pine for family yuletide celebrations at the family-operated D&G Christmas Tree Farm is a must.
